Maritime Museum is located in the old Coastguard Station in Greencastle
(Only 100 Yards from the Lough Foyle Ferry Landing). The museum houses
an extensive collection of artifacts, photographs and memorabilia of
all things maritime, fully rigged boats, Currachs, Coastguards North
and South, traditional boatbuilding, Spanish Armada, WWI / WWII, emigration
and much more…
Then,
there is our Planetarium - a unique attraction (there are only 3 in
the whole of Ireland) with computer operated state-of-the-art projection
systems. We can display a realistic night sky, as well as entertaining,
educational and exciting shows. Each group has a choice of 4 great shows,
suitable for all ages!
