About Inishowen Maritime Museum

The Museum is located in the old coastguard station on Greencastle harbour, overlooking one of the busiest fishing fleets in Ireland, with magnificent views over Lough Foyle and Co Derry. It is situated beside the Greencastle - Magilligan ferry.

Winter Opening Hours (October until May):
Mon-Fri: 10.00am - 5.00pm
Closed weekends except for group bookings

We will be open Easter Weekend

Admission Fees:

  • Museum Admission: €5.00
  • Museum & Planetarium Admission Combined: €10.00
  • Children, students and senior citizens: €3.00 for Museum, €6.00 for Museum & Planetarium
    (additional charge if attending more than one planetarium show)
